About Us

Purple Cabbage Music is a two person stripped down music collaborative made up of friends, John and Hazel. The duo was formed in California after they met when they played together with a local rock band camp.

John and Hazel currently attend high school. They play covers and originals at local open mics and occasionally busk the sidewalks in their hometown. They played their first show as Purple Cabbage at Tower Porchfest last spring on the FMAA porch. They are becoming known for their heart-melting, understated, stripped-down style.

Purple Cabbage Music is currently working on their first album and is aiming to get more live playing opportunities as they prepare to record. Wish them well!
